Brooke, thanks for inviting me to come out tonight for some great entertainment and for getting me up close with that special little tag :)
I have never been to a Christian show before tonight and wasn't quite sure what to expect and quite honestly, didn't expect the whole auditorium to be as packed as it was!!
I was only able to shoot a little of MercyMe but was really diggin' Jeremy Camp and all of these photos except the last one were shot during their performance.
I have to say, I've been to a lot of concerts but tonight is one I won't soon forget. There was this very palpable energy I had never experienced before and it was just flowing through the crowd. It was quite powerful and I somewhat felt absorbed by it all. You can check out the tour here.

A break in editing for some Clumsy Lovers!
Absolutely love these guys!! I was so jazzed when they came back to Billings this past Monday and played at The Yellowstone Brewing Garage. I wanted to follow them up to Bozeman for their play tonight but I'm just beat tired. They'll be back :)

Magic City Blues Festival featuring Blues Traveler

Last night I went with Mandy and Amy to the annual Blues Festival downtown and what can I say, it was freakin' awesome seein' these boys live!! :) The only thing that wasn't as awesome was that I had to get up for a haircut at 8am this morning, ughhhhh . . .

~~~~~ The Clumsy Lovers ~~~~~~
Holy~Wow~Cow!! That's all I can say about The Clumsy Lovers! Monday night they played at my favorite watering hole, The Yellowstone Valley Brewing Garage, and what a show it was . . . and to think, I almost didn't go~it was a Monday evening after all. Tyler Burnett was the opening act for the Lovers and because I had hesitated on going out, I missed their show, but it's ok, I know how awesome they are too! I plan on photographing them soon but more on that in a later post. Anywho, as soon as I had walked through the door at the Garage, the "lunatic energy" (from their bio ~ and it was lunatic!) was thumping and the crowd was crazy dancin'. It was amazing. I have never been so energized and my face hurt from smiling silly all evening ;) You could tell by the crowd that they were widely known and well loved. I saw people of all types, bikers to hippies, old to young and everything in between. Good cold beer, good friends, music and autographs to be had ;) If you can ever catch a show of theirs, you must drop what you are doing and go . . . go now!! I do know they'll be in Helena next Friday, road trip anyone!!??????? ;)
